There's something for everyone including music, film, food, shopping. The Festival was created to promote the art, soul, and future of Brooklyn and is a great way to learn more about this eclectic neighborhood. It's also a great reason to get out of your condo or apartment for a day in the sun!

Funk and Soul

Forget singing in the shower in your apartment! For the music lover, the Soul Summit Music Festival is a must-see. The festival is an ongoing event that takes place in Fort Greene Park on Sunday afternoons, 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. from the second Sunday in July through the last week in August. The festival is always free, open to the public and showcases artists of various backgrounds including DJs, live bands, dance companies, fashion designers, filmmakers and photographers.

For the Art Adventurist

In addition to their commitment to the arts, BAM is deeply rooted in the community and strives to integrate the arts into Fort Greene. BAM's Next Wave Festival is dedicated to showcasing emerging artists alongside modern masters, providing adventurous art for adventurous audiences.
